Maps
The Maps tab lets you manage map settings and your own custom raster (bitmap) maps.
Note: A large number of other maps are also supported in the server. They are managed under the Plugins tab.
Free Google Maps API
Free Google Maps API
Follow the instructions on the Google web site to obtain your Google Maps API key. It is usually best to sign up a key for you top domain, e.g. "http://yoursite.com", as it also works for subdomains.
Free Key
If you have a free Google Maps API key you should input it here.
Default Map Language
The default map language controls how localized information is shown on Google Maps. This for example affects the address information and alphabet used on the map.
Note: the default map language setting does not affect the language setting for the user interface. That is controllen under the Settings menu in the application.

Premier API Client ID
If you have a Google Maps API Premier account you should input your Client ID here.
Premier API Private Key
If you have a Google Maps API Premier account you should input your Private Key here.
Custom
You can use your own raster (bitmap) maps in the server. The window titled Maps contains the custom maps that are activated on the server.
Adding a new map
Click on New Map to add a new custom map to your server.
Give the map a descriptive name. It will be shown to the application end users.
The window titled Map data on server contains all the map content available in the Maps directory on your server installation. The window titled Your map content (zoom leves) contains the map content that is going to be available for this particular map.
Note: you can assign the map to different applications in the Assign map to instances window
